Wood-working plant "Technopark-Sosnovo"
Wood-working plant "Technopark-Sosnovo" is a subsidiary of the JSC "Technopark LTA", main goal of which is the promotion of the latest wood-processing technologies. Now we work in 5 "wooden" areas:
- Wood windows and window bars;
- Wood-working equipment sales;
- Production of building timber;
- Designing and building of wood frame house;
- Designing and manufacture of supplementary wood-working equipment.
Sawmill "Technopark-Sosnovo" has full complex machinery providing the whole cycle of wood-processing: sawmill, drying kilns. It means that the plant gets sawlog from loggers and produces goods using non-waste technology.
To produce window bar the quarter sawn board is selected. This kind of board has annual rings inclining to wide face by not more than 60 degrees. High quality boards are used for elite finish. Timber that wasn't used for window bar production goes for manufacture of baseboard, lining, casing etc.
The rest of processed timber is used to get heat energy based on modern biofuel technologies. The energy is aimed not only for the plant needs but also for heating and hot water supply of municipal houses in Sosnovo.
Dry chips are pressed into fuel granules, so-called "pellets", burnt in modern biofuel boilers.
Efficiency of window bar workshop is so high that we provide not only our window line but sell beams both in Russia and abroad – Sweden, Finland, Germany.
Beside window, window beams we produce other hi-tech glued wood articles – furniture panels, window-sills, elements of stairs, building stuff.
In 2005 the plant started manufacture of clapboard – "Nord House" from coniferous wood species. This kind of lining is made by sawing. Painting of "Nord House" by the technology of the finnish company "Teknos" ensures service life of the cover as many as 15 years.
The plant offers also timber drying, providing both shipping-dry and working humidity (from 8%±2% to 18 %). The plant has 7 drying kilns with 15-30 meters capacity.
At the moment the grinding section has expanded service for disk, band and gang saws, cutters, planing knives.
